About Veronica

A Cambridge native, Veronica and her family made Paris their home in 2013. It wasn’t long until she fell in love with living local in a small town.

“ There is always lots to do, whether it’s hiking the local trails, going to community events, or popping into our favourite local restaurants for a bite to eat, there is something for everyone in Brant County. It’s so important to support all these great local independent businesses in our downtown areas. Each is a unique gem that draws customers in from near and far all contributing to maintaining and growing our thriving communities. I want everyone who lives or visits here to love it as much as I do”.

Q&A With Veronica:

WHY DID YOU BECOME A REALTOR®?

After 15 years in the customer service and retail industry I was looking for a change. Real Estate seemed to be a natural fit that combined my interests in beautiful yet functional living spaces, home décor, design, layouts, heritage/older homes, and overall home management.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE PART OF SELLING REAL ESTATE?

It’s a two-pronged approach. First, I love really digging into the clients needs, as a home should be functional for each person living under its roof and second, the look they get when they find “The One”! It’s magical! My goal is to leave each interaction with clients knowing I helped them acquire a property that has the power to change their lives, their finances and build their wealth.

WHERE DO YOU LIKE TO TRAVEL?

It all depends on the reason for the trip.

Is it time to unwind with the family and spend some quality time together? Then time on the beach in the warm sunshine, with some activities scattered throughout the week is just the ticket.

Or are we up for adventure, exploring or checking out a specific place? Then we head of to that particular place and take in as much as possible before it’s time to return home.

While I’ve been lucky to have travelled to quite a few places, I do have some bucket list travel destinations that include London, Paris, Glasgow & Copenhagen.

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE BOOKS, MOVIES, SHOWS, BANDS?

Books – I love a good non-fiction, if I’m reading for leisure. I’ve been finding myself picking up more titles in the personal development genre lately, purely for the sake of learning and personal betterment. My most cherished set of books is the Harry Potter series.

Movies – I’m usually up for anything, comedy, action, thriller, horror, true stories, or anything with Leonardo DiCaprio. Favourites include The Sound of Music, Grease, Saving Mr. Banks, You’ve Got Mail & The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Shows – I’ve been living cable & satellite free for well over 10 years, so please don’t ask me if I’ve seen the latest episode of X, because chances are the answer is “no”. It makes my television viewing more purposeful, since I have to actively find a show to watch. A few of my favourites are Game Of Thrones, Silicon Valley & Downton Abbey. I’m also weirdly obsessed with documentaries and true crime.

Bands/Music – I do enjoy a wide variety of music genres from Rock n’ Roll to Broadway Show Tunes, Heavy Metal to Classical and a few more in between, but I would have to say I’m a Country girl at heart.

WHAT'S ONE THING MOST PEOPLE DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU?

I was once picked from the audience to participate on stage with David Copperfield.
