We moved to Brantford in 2010 to establish solid roots within a growing community, which we now call home for our family. Married way way over a decade, now with a 13 yr old and 9 yr old, we have found ourselves grounded in our community as Brantford has a unique spark and a special spot in our hearts. Growing with the city has been most inspiring. There are many small towns around the outskirts of Brantford that have heart and soul. Annual town Yard Sales, Fire Fighter Fashion Shows, charities to support the hospice, local farms, and not to mention the schools- W. Ross MacDonald for the blind and Wilfred Laurier. Brantford also has fantastic sports facilities and many small boutique restaurants within our area. We believe "If you live local, shop local" as many Brantfordians do.

WHY DID YOU BECOME A REALTOR®?
This was a no-brainer ... Previously I was working with a big grocery chain in management and bookkeeping. I had been in the industry for 13 years doing hiring, scheduling, payroll etc., but it was time for a change. Real estate was calling my name and had always been a part of our lives. Purchasing our first property when I was 22 yrs old started out as a great investment and we haven't stopped. Servicing different families and getting to know my clients on a personal level has only uncovered the truth this is the industry for me.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE PART OF SELLING REAL ESTATE?
When you walk through a property and you see the excitement in your clients' eyes! There's nothing greater than knowing you've played a part in finding their dream home. This is the home where they can lay their roots and start their family traditions, or continue them. There are so many different buyers and sellers that every moment is unique.
It makes me feel proud when my clients put their trust in me to sell their largest asset. Homes are a foundation for building love, trust, and honesty. WHERE DO YOU LIKE TO TRAVEL?
We've traveled many different places- Dominican Republican, Florida, Mexico , Cuba and are headed to the Bahamas shortly! But even with all these destinations, we enjoy camping the most. We enjoy spending time with our family up in Kirkfield, Ontario, where I spent a lot of time camping as a child! Most of our family is there for the summer months and our kids feel at home. And yes there are Black Bears! Every family needs to get away and have fun from time to time. There's nothing like making Smores around a campfire enjoying the fresh country air.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE BOOKS, MOVIES, SHOWS, BANDS?
I've always been a country girl. Country music holds a spot in my heart. I've seen many artists and enjoy the atmosphere at every concert we've attended. Because music is a big part of our lives our children are open to many different types of music, which embraces great characteristics and thought throughout their journey.
We're suckers for movies!! Every Friday night is movie night, and some favorites would be:
Gladiator (our fave) plus many Disneys movies...and without the children: The Notebook, Dirty Dancing and every Jason Bourne movie to date.
WHAT'S ONE THING MOST PEOPLE DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU?
I'm an outgoing soul and like to spend my free time at the dirt bike track (just 15 minutes from our home!) watching my two children and my husband ride their dirt bikes . Brantford holds some great resources close to home.
