Q & A With Debbie:

WHY DID YOU BECOME A REALTOR®?

In 1989 I started my career in Real Estate to help support my family in a job that would provide flexible hours as I raised my young family.  I quickly realized the need to be someone that my clientele could count on to lead them through one of the most stressful events in their lives. I developed a good core of people in mortgage and legal fields. These assisted my clients and made the whole experience so much smoother and enjoyable for them.  I want to treat my clients as I would want to be treated, with true professionalism and courtesy.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE PART OF SELLING REAL ESTATE?

The joy of finding the perfect place for my clients and the relationships I form with my clients and their families during the house hunting process.

WHERE DO YOU LIKE TO TRAVEL?

I love Disney, you’re never too old for that place but I also love the tropics. Heading north in the fall to see the colours on the trees or going there to be on the lakes and rivers.

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE BOOKS, MOVIES, SHOWS, BANDS?

Surprisingly I do love a good drama but mostly I love to laugh so movies like The Airplane series, Pink Panther, Naked Gun series or comedy specials are very appealing.  I like to read about real events or a information that will be light hearted. My tastes in music have changed many times but I do enjoy many of AC DC songs they energize and get you moving as well as other happy music. I also enjoy the classics for relaxing to.

WHAT'S ONE THING MOST PEOPLE DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU?

We lived in northern Ontario for 10 years up by Kirkland Lake in a small beautiful town called Larder Lake. We enjoyed life there very much while the family was young. When the time came to move Brantford was the place to be as I was born and raised here, and my family were all here. I attended North Park Collegiate and Graham Bell public school.
